ALPINE SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS
Position	Prerequisite	Job Description
Head Counselor, Female Head Counselor, Male	Mature Spiritual leader Previous counseling experience at Alpine Two years college	Daily over-site of counselors Assist in directing of day to day program
Counselor	Exhibits and communicates a vibrant relationship with God 18 years of age or older 1 year of college or previous ministry experience Must function well in an outdoor, team oriented, youth ministry setting	24 hour a day over- site of 8 – 10 campers in a week long resident camp setting Able to commit to ten weeks of summer service You provide initiative, drive, love of Christ and kids – we’ll provide training and a great experience!
Life Guard	Exhibits a vibrant relationship with God 16 years of age or older Lifeguard certification	Responsible, mature individual Ability to lifeguard children through adults Able to commit to minimum of ten weeks Knows or willing to learn basic pool maintenance
Adventure Facilitator	18 years of age or older Demonstrate an example of Christ in all areas of life Must be professional in conduct and have a teachable spirit	Able to commit to two summers of ministry Train in whitewater rafting, caving, rappelling, high ropes course, paintball, and teambuilding facilitation Apply outdoor adventure experiences to the spiritual lives of participants
